Interior Designer III - Remote

Overview

This intermediate-level position will be a member of our furniture team and will collaborate with design and technical leadership on various projects in the healthcare and higher education markets.

In Short

• Lead project goals through all phases of design.
• Evaluate client needs and document design objectives.
• Research and coordinate furniture throughout design work.
• Coordinate design work and standards compliance.
• Develop furniture specification packages.
• Evaluate and select materials; consult with vendors.
• Produce presentations and cost estimates.
• Assist in project planning and budgeting.
• Mentor and supervise less experienced staff.
• Participate in construction administration activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Interior Design or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of related experience.
• Current NCIDQ certification preferred.
• Strong design focus and independent thinking.
• Analytical skills and knowledge of design processes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Professional business attire for client meetings.
• Willingness to travel as required.
