Interior Designer - Remote

Overview

This intermediate-level position will be a member of our multi-disciplinary team and will collaborate with design and technical leadership and be an integral part of project teams for a 2.0+ million square foot healthcare facility at Mayo Clinic’s campus in Rochester, MN.

In Short

• Lead the development of the project’s goals through all project phases.
• Evaluate client needs and document design objectives.
• Research and coordinate furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Coordinate design work and standards within the team.
• Develop interior space designs including floor plans and finishes.
• Independently evaluate and select materials.
• Produce drawings in conformance with project constraints.
• Assist in project planning and budgeting.
• Lead client meetings as requested.
• Mentor and supervise less experienced staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Interior Design or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of related experience.
• Current NCIDQ certification preferred.
• Must be design focused and an independent thinker.
• Strong creative design portfolio required.
• Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Professional business attire required for client meetings.
• Travel required.
