Interior Designer II - Remote

Overview

This position will have a design or technical focus and be a member of our multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with design and technical leadership and will be an integral part of project teams with a focus on a 2.0+ million square foot healthcare facility at Mayo Clinic’s campus in Rochester, MN.

In Short

• Assist Senior Interior Designer and/or Project Manager with project goals.
• Assist in the development of design including planning and three-dimensional studies.
• Independently assist in design development and documentation of interior spaces.
• Support furniture, fixtures and equipment (FFE) selection and layout.
• Produce drawings in conformance with project constraints.
• Identify and apply building and life safety codes.
• Prepare renderings and presentation materials.
• Participate in client meetings to gain experience.
• Participate in construction administration activities.
• Mentor less experienced interior design staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Interior Design or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of related experience required.
• Current NCIDQ certification preferred.
• Strong creative design portfolio is essential.
• Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Professional business attire required for client meetings.
• Travel required.
