Senior Litigation Paralegal - Remote

Overview

The Senior Paralegal reports directly to an Associate General Counsel or Assistant General Counsel, who has a specific expertise in a particular area of law. The Senior Paralegal will materially support additional attorneys practicing in different substantive areas of the law, and will have exceptional knowledge and notable experience aligned with hiring attorney’s expertise.

• Assist in-house counsel in managing legal issues efficiently.
• Research and collect information to assist in legal analysis.
• Communicate with internal business counterparts to resolve legal issues.
• Investigate factual claims internally.
• Review, analyze, and create legal documentation.
• Manage legal document management systems.
• Plan and manage other projects as assigned.
• Assist with retaining and coordinating with outside counsel.
• Perform preliminary legal research.
• Train new associates in the legal department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a related field.
• Special certifications preferred (e.g., Florida Bar or ABA approved paralegal certification).
• Substantive knowledge in specialized areas of law preferred.
• Comprehensive computer skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and electronic research tools.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving skills and solutions-oriented mindset.
