Litigation Paralegal - Remote

Overview

The Litigation Paralegal at The Jeffcoat Firm will guide clients through the civil case process, acting as the primary point of contact and communicating with insurance companies on their behalf.

In Short

• Ethical compliance with the SC Rules of Professional Conduct.
• Prepare, review, and edit legal documents.
• Schedule meetings with clients and court proceedings.
• Organize and maintain case files and databases.
• Draft correspondence and legal documents.
• Assist in trial preparation and witness preparation.
• Delegate tasks to Civil Case Manager as needed.
• Attend required meetings.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Paralegal studies preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ litigation experience.
• Familiarity with court procedures and rules.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Litify preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.
