Overview

The IT Asset Procurement Specialist will support NASA’s IT acquisition efforts, facilitating the procurement of hardware and software assets while ensuring compliance with federal regulations.

• Coordinate procurement of IT hardware and software assets.
• Liaise with NASA's Technical Point of Contact and Technical Asset Manager.
• Prepare procurement documentation in accordance with guidelines.
• Track and manage the procurement process from quote to delivery.

• Maintain organized documentation for procurement requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in IT asset procurement or vendor management.
• Familiarity with federal procurement processes.
• Experience in obtaining and evaluating vendor quotes.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass NASA background check.
• Preferred experience with NASA or federal agencies.
• Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
