Software Tester - Remote

Overview

The Software Tester position at CACI involves supporting the US Marine Corps by applying strong interpersonal skills and expertise in application testing. This role is primarily remote with occasional travel.

In Short

• Remote position with possible travel to customer sites.
• Design and manage test cases with traceability.
• Execute software testing using industry-accepted tools.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Government Acceptance Testing (GAT).
• Document and report failed test cases.
• Collaborate with Scrum Team on defect corrections.
• Develop and deliver test reports to stakeholders.
• Maintain DoD Secret clearance or higher.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing.
• Possess or obtain cybersecurity certification.

Requirements

• BS/BS in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Experience with test automation tools like Selenium.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams.
• Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira.
• Knowledge of software applications and operating systems.
• Agile process experience is a plus.
• Tester/QA certification is desired.
• Experience with DoD applications is a plus.
