Software Tester - Remote

Overview

As a Software Tester at Ocean Technologies Group (OTG), you will be responsible for designing, creating, and executing manual and automated test cases to validate software functionality, ensuring high-quality maritime software solutions.

In Short

• Design and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking systems.
• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and API testing.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers on testing requirements.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman.
• Ensure test coverage across various levels.
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Work in an Agile development environment.
• Support adoption of test automation frameworks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software testing.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies.
• Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools.
• Automation experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
