Overview

The Residential Counselor position in the Crisis Stabilization Unit is designed for individuals who are passionate about providing support and care to patients in a therapeutic environment. This role involves working directly with clients to implement treatment plans and ensure compliance with program rules.

In Short

• Full-time evening shift from 3pm to 11:30pm.
• Assists with daily patient activities and direct client care.
• Monitors and documents client progress and adherence to treatment plans.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's in psychology or human services preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to observe and document client needs effectively.
• Experience in human services is preferred.
• Must be able to remain awake and alert during overnight shifts.
• Must pass background checks as required.
• Knowledge of addiction and recovery is a plus for substance use programs.
