Surgical Technician - Remote

Overview

The Surgical Technician assists the Operating Room Staff Nurse and surgeon in both scheduled and emergency operative procedures, ensuring a high standard of patient care.

In Short

• Work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with on-call requirements.
• Responsible for scrubbing and passing instrumentation during surgeries.
• Must understand and apply aseptic techniques.
• Ability to react quickly under pressure and prioritize tasks.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technician program preferred.
• Certification in Surgical Technology is preferred.
• American Heart Association B.L.S. certification for healthcare providers preferred.
• No prior experience required beyond training.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality improvement.
