Overview

The Patient Access Schedule Agent is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing calls to schedule patient appointments and manage related financial information, working within a healthcare setting.

In Short

  • Partially remote position, working Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
  • Handles incoming phone calls from patients, families, and providers.
  • Makes outbound calls to schedule appointments with specialists.
  • Secures necessary patient information for scheduling.
  • Processes updates to patient insurance and demographic info.
  • Collects patient liabilities prior to service.
  • Schedules in-office procedures as needed.
  • Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred experience in scheduling and healthcare.
  • $3000 sign-on bonus available for new hires.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; associate’s degree preferred.
  • English speaking, reading, and writing skills required.
  • Strong intrapersonal and communication skills required.
  • Previous scheduling and/or phone customer service experience preferred.
  • Bilingual skills preferred.
