Respiratory Clinician - Nights - Remote

Overview

The Respiratory Clinician at UMass Memorial Health is responsible for administering respiratory care and support to patients, particularly during night shifts. This role involves working collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

In Short

• Position requires monitoring patients on mechanical ventilation.
• Administers respiratory support and CPR as needed.
• Assists in intubations and bronchoscopies.
• Establishes and modifies treatment plans for respiratory therapy.
• Obtains arterial blood gases and performs blood draws.
• Sets up and monitors ventilatory support equipment.
• Works every other weekend and holiday.
• Critical care experience is required.
• Must obtain a Massachusetts license within two months of hire.
• Potential signing bonus available.

Requirements

• Current registration as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Respiratory Care.
• Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support.
• Preferred certifications include ACLS and PALS.
• Experience in critical care and technical skills required.
• Pediatric and NICU experience preferred.
• Ability to work cross campuses.
• Must maintain current MA license.
