Overview

The Registration Representative plays a vital role in providing access to healthcare services by performing various registration duties in a professional and compassionate manner.

In Short

  • Part-time position with a schedule of 24 hours per week.
  • Day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
  • Responsible for patient registration for inpatient and outpatient services.
  • Handles demographic and insurance information entry into the system.
  • Collects patient liabilities prior to or on the date of service.
  • Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
  • Provides excellent customer service and assistance with patient wayfinding.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Previous clerical experience preferred.
  • On-the-job training will be provided.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED required.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Ability to work under close supervision.
  • Preferred: Previous clerical and Meditech experience.
  • Helpful to have a good understanding of medical terminology.
