Overview

The Registered Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist performs various cardiac ultrasound procedures and contributes to exceptional patient care within the UMass Memorial Health system.

In Short

• Perform all types of Cardiac Ultrasound procedures.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and perform portable exams.
• Record images and complete reports using Epic.
• Collaborate with sonographers, MDs, and students.
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
• On-call duties required every 5-6 weeks.
• May work at offsite locations occasionally.
• Must have ARDMS or CCI certification.
• Emphasis on respect and teamwork in the workplace.
• Sign-on bonus may be available.

Requirements

• Specialized post-secondary training equal to two years of college.
• Registration required by ARDMS or CCI.
• Ability to perform specialized ultrasound procedures.
