Ultrasound Technologist - Remote

Overview

The Ultrasound Technologist will play a significant role in ensuring the successful implementation and quality of Intestinal Ultrasound (IUS) central reading services in clinical trials, focusing primarily on providing support on clinical trial imaging site feasibility, training and technical site equipment troubleshooting support, as well as technical guidance to various stakeholders in achieving high quality IUS image data.

In Short

• Collaborate with the study team to verify trial sites meet minimum criteria for selection.
• Support evaluation of site capabilities to ensure adherence to imaging protocols and quality standards.
• Conduct and analyze ongoing quality checks of imaging data to maintain high standards throughout the trial lifecycle.
• Support the development and delivery of training programs for site and/or CRO personnel.
• Provide comprehensive training on proper patient positioning and imaging techniques.
• Address questions and concerns from site staff regarding IUS procedures.
• Possess a deep understanding of current Intestinal Ultrasound techniques and equipment.
• Offer guidance on optimizing image quality for accurate assessments.
• Collaborate closely with Clinical Project Managers and Imaging Scientists.
• Serve as a point of contact for site personnel, providing ongoing support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or master's degree with 4-6 years of related experience.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent is required.
• Clinical Trial experience preferred.
• Proven experience with a mix of ultrasound machine models.
