Medical Monitor - Remote

Overview

The Medical Monitor will provide unbiased medical guidance to clinical sites and study operations teams, ensuring compliance and oversight throughout the study lifecycle.

• Provide medical guidance on protocols and patient eligibility.
• Document contacts and consult with medical directors and sponsor groups.
• Identify safety issues and trends during the study.
• Review laboratory values and protocol deviations.
• Create and execute study-specific medical monitoring plans.
• Participate in protocol and clinical study report development.
• Provide medical input into data collection and study feasibility.
• Lead medical monitoring teleconferences.
• Develop medical educational materials and provide internal training.
• Present at investigator meetings and CRA training.

Requirements

• Medical degree with understanding of drug development processes.
• 4-6 years of related experience in clinical trials.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to exercise clinical judgment in trials.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills for data evaluation.
• Preferred experience in navigating medical scenarios in a CRO environment.
• Fluency in English is required.
