The Patient Care Assistant II in the Cardiac Stepdown Unit provides essential support and care to patients under the guidance of Registered Nurses, ensuring comfort and safety while assisting with daily living activities.

• Part-time position, 24 hours per week, night shift.

Requirements

• Minimum high school education or GED.
• Current CNA or EMT license preferred.
• Prior clinical experience or acute care training.
• Nursing student with at least one clinical rotation is acceptable.
• Current Basic Life Support or Heart Saver certification required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Must be sensitive to patients’ needs and build positive rapport.
