Overview

The Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing patient care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, supporting patients with daily activities and maintaining a safe environment.

• Provide constant observation for patients at risk for injury.
• Obtain and report vital signs and perform blood glucose testing.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• One year of nursing assistant experience or completion of a training program.
• Current nursing assistant certification (CNA) preferred.
• Ability to follow protocols and take responsibility for patient care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
