Overview

The Nursing Assistant at UMass Memorial Health provides essential patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, ensuring a safe and clean environment while supporting patients with activities of daily living.

• Provide constant observation for patients at risk for injury.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification required.
• One year of nursing assistant experience or completion of a training program.
• Current nursing assistant certification (CNA) is preferred.
• Participation in the MRMC nursing assistant training program is an option.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
