Mammographer - Per Diem - Remote

Overview

The Mammographer will perform mammography exams and related clerical duties under general supervision, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to safety protocols.

In Short

• Perform mammography exams and operate mammography equipment.
• Assess each patient psychologically and physically.
• Document patient history and any medical complaints.
• Maintain equipment and cleanliness in the work area.
• Assist in other areas/modalities as needed.
• Adhere to departmental policies and safety standards.
• Work part-time on a per diem basis, including weekends.
• Must have ARRT registration in Diagnostic Radiology and Mammography.
• Licensed by the State of Massachusetts as a mammography technologist.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of employment.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Registration with ARRT in both Diagnostic Radiology and Mammography.
• State licensure as a mammography technologist.
• BLS healthcare provider certification.
• Prior experience in mammography is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
