Overview

The Account Executive is responsible for generating revenue by representing Sourcewell's enterprise solutions and developing relationships with key agency accounts.

In Short

  • Generate revenue through enterprise solutions.
  • Develop strong relationships with agency accounts.
  • Manage, retain, and grow assigned accounts.
  • Conduct market research and understand client needs.
  • Deliver presentations showcasing products and services.
  • Attend trade shows and networking events.
  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for strategy development.
  • Support category development with insights on agency needs.
  • Travel approximately 10-12 times per year.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree and 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Public speaking or sales presentation experience.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Senior position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience.
  • Principal position requires 5 years of experience in sales management.
  • Knowledge of government structures and legal requirements.
  • Experience with U.S. military service is preferred.
  • Understanding of DoD funding and procurement processes.
  • Familiarity with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations.
  • Ability to understand military installation priorities.
