Overview

The Commercial Portfolio Manager provides a positive customer experience through managing client relationships and supporting the bank’s relationship management efforts.

• Manage client relationships utilizing Busey products and services.
• Perform preliminary financial analyses for credit decisions.
• Ensure adherence to credit policy and manage loan portfolios.
• Interact with customers to address servicing matters.
• Prepare call plans and relationship reviews.
• Collaborate with internal/external clients.
• Participate in the bank’s loan approval process.
• Grow relationships and increase deposits.
• Negotiate credit transactions.
• Service existing customer relationships for profitability.

Requirements

• 4-year college degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of experience in banking, finance, or sales.
• 3+ years of credit analysis or underwriting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of credit fundamentals.
• Needs-based sales and customer service skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Able to analyze and interpret numerical data.
• Ability to perform under time pressures.
