Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer at Brook, you will be instrumental in designing and scaling the distributed platform that powers our health solutions, focusing on supporting chronic-condition care through technology.

In Short

Design and deploy robust server-side applications using Java and Python.
Collaborate with data scientists to integrate AI/ML into our platform.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Kubernetes.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Optimize data store performance for MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
Champion engineering best practices and ensure system scalability.
Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot production issues.
Stay updated with new technologies and methodologies.
Contribute to a culture of innovation within the team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
7+ years of server-side development experience in Java, Python, or Golang.
Experience with microservices architecture and DevOps principles.
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and deploying ML models.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
Hands-on experience with AWS and containerization platforms (Docker/Kubernetes).
Experience in healthcare or regulated industries is a plus.
Contributions to open-source projects are preferred.
Familiarity with JavaScript/React for occasional full-stack work.
