Overview

Brightspeed is currently looking for a Senior Account Manager for our Sales and Channel Management – Community Transformations department to join our team! In this role, the Senior Account Manager will be responsible to grow the Multi-Unit Dwelling (MDU) and Single-Family Home (SFH) partnerships through contract acquisition with developers, property managers and builders.

In Short

  • Accountability for meeting and/or exceeding assigned sales objectives and monthly revenue quotas
  • Developing and executing hunting strategies to target new MDU and single-family home construction in your territory
  • Creating and maintaining a full sales funnel catching every opportunity in your territory
  • Building great customer relationships and delivering an excellent end-to-end customer experience
  • Responsible for day-to-day sales activity management, funnel activity, territory management, and customer focused sales efforts
  • Participating in community and industry-related events to further develop the opportunities to procure new business
  • Leading in both industry knowledge and your territory’s competitive landscape
  • Negotiating offers and contracts for building entrance agreements, bulk prices, and marketing agreements
  • Working closely with engineers and other cross functional teams to create the best solutions for customers and a seamless customer experience
  • Tracking customer fiber builds to ensure the project will hit the first occupancy date and that the customer is informed on project milestones
  • Proactively troubleshooting issues and managing quick resolutions of any obstacle

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, Marketing, or related experience
  • 3+ years of sales or account management experience
  • Proven results-driven, professional sales experience
  • Requires strong written and verbal communications
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to travel to meet the demands of the job
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (MVR)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
