Brightspeed is seeking a strategic and results-driven Principal Architect, IT Bill to Revenue with extensive expertise in telecommunications billing systems, revenue recognition, and financial operations to streamline accounts receivable and ensure compliance with regulations.

In Short

• Lead strategic direction for Telco Billing, Payment, and Mediation Platforms.
• Architect end-to-end solutions for billing systems.
• Manage large-scale billing system migrations.
• Provide guidance on data architecture and reconciliation.
• Oversee compliance with ASC 606 and GAAP standards.
• Collaborate with agile delivery teams.
• Drive stakeholder alignment and consensus building.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Implement emerging technologies for revenue forecasting.
• Deliver presentations to executive leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in OSS, BSS solutions for Telecommunications.
• Experience in Billing, Payment, and Revenue Recognition for North American Telco.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and revenue recognition rules.
• Strong negotiation and consensus-building skills.
• Experience with Atlassian tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Led architecture and systems integration projects.
