Overview

As an Operations Technician at Brightspeed, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and maintaining the transport network while ensuring exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.

In Short

  • Monitor and maintain the Brightspeed transport network.
  • Open trouble tickets and work on the repair of network equipment.
  • Assist in equipment-specific maintenance procedures.
  • Analyze network events and identify critical issues.
  • Work with minimal supervision in a 24x7 environment.
  • Provide Tier I/II support in platforms supported.
  • Communicate effectively with peers and customers.
  • Manage multiple trouble reports and escalations.
  • Provide training and support to technicians.
  • Maintain documentation of network failures and maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent education.
  • 3+ years of related experience in telecommunications.
  • Customer-facing experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of TDM and IP-based voice and data services.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and customer focus.
  • Strong personal leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
