In Short

• Conduct customer and market research in Japan to understand customer needs and the competitive landscape
• Adapt product strategy to fit the nuances of the Japanese market
• Gather ongoing feedback from Japanese customers, prospects, partner ecosystem, and internal customer facing departments
• Conduct product design research, documentation, and work closely with the development team
• Develop strategies for product feature positioning and messaging
• Provide technical support for building a partner ecosystem in Japan
• Drive localization of products and supplemental assets

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a technical position at a foreign software company
• Comfortable communicating in English
• Good understanding of software and SaaS development processes
• Experience with web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• Experience developing applications with REST API in a cloud-based architecture
• Strong communication skills to listen to customer requirements
• Ability to build cooperative relationships with stakeholders
• Understanding and experience with marketing technology preferred
• Experience with MA tools and mobile app development preferred
• Experience with SQL database access preferred
