Senior Actuarial Analyst - Remote

In Short

• Responsible for executing projects in support of pricing insurance business.
• Preparing, performing, analyzing, and reviewing actuarial analysis.
• Creating basic loss and expense reserve analysis.
• Developing and improving rate level indications.
• Investigating data anomalies and ensuring data quality.
• Preparing regulatory filings for rate changes.
• Reviewing components of company rating plans.
• Determining the relationship of price to risk.
• Information analysis and reporting to support contracting initiatives.
• Collaboration with analytics team and business partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in actuarial science, math, or statistics.
• 2-4 years of Actuarial experience.
• Pursuing Actuarial designation with 4+ exams completed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong technical skills (Excel, SQL, R).
• Experience with rate level indications and rate filings.
• Solid knowledge of product, price, risk management, and insurance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
