Senior Actuarial Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Sr. Actuarial Analyst will support the development of monthly financial forecasts for Provider Organization (PO) partners in ACO REACH, MSSP, and Medicare Advantage. This role will collaborate cross-functionally to optimize processes and value clinical models and drive insights through data analysis and modeling.

• Support the development of monthly financial forecasts for all Provider Organization (PO) partners.
• Assist the actuarial, clinical, finance and strategy teams with data analysis and modeling.
• Plan and execute projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion of analyses and reports.
• Ensure compliance with relevant actuarial standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate effectively in a highly matrixed environment.
• Design actuarial processes to optimize organizational efficiency.
• Assist in designing and building tools for trend projections and forecasting.
• Create presentations in PowerPoint using advanced skill sets.
• Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field required.
• Progress toward or attainment of relevant actuarial certification required.
• 2+ years of experience in actuarial roles.
• Experience in actuarial modeling, pricing, reserving, and risk management within healthcare.
• Strong analytical and modeling skills using Excel.
• Strong data analysis skills using SQL and/or SAS.
• Comfort with working independently in an unstructured environment.
• Excellent prioritization and communication skills.
