Senior Actuarial Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Senior Actuarial Analyst provides advanced actuarial support for defined-benefit pension plans, primarily for large public-sector systems, and helps plan sponsors meet their funding, regulatory, and participant-service obligations.

• Provide advanced actuarial support for defined-benefit pension plans.
• Run valuations in proprietary or commercial actuarial software.
• Compute accrued, projected, and optional-form benefits.
• Draft and file required government forms.
• Translate technical results into clear, sponsor-ready language.
• Support plan implementations, amendments, and terminations.
• Review calculations and reports prepared by peers.
• Coach junior analysts on actuarial techniques.
• Work in a fully remote environment.
• Help improve and secure retirements for clients.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in defined benefit actuarial services.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proficient with ProVal actuarial valuation software.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Experience with OPEB plans preferred.
• Ability to build rapport remotely.
