Branch is remote first, with most Branchers choosing to work from home. Our headquarters are located in Columbus, Ohio, where we come together from time to time to build relationships and connect with each other in real life. Once a year, the entire company gathers for “BranchFest”, a highlight of the year for many Branchers.

In Short

• Support architecture, engineering, BI, and special projects across the organization.
• Manage, govern, and democratize data through self-service tools.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations for data-driven decisions.
• Troubleshoot and fix issues within existing data pipelines.
• Ensure data quality and compliance for end users.
• Provide hands-on technical expertise and leadership.
• Collaborate with leaders to improve processes and best practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in data/reporting development.
• Proficiency in SQL; dbt experience is desirable.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, or other programming languages.
• Experience in insurance data and business domain is a plus.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and quality monitoring.
• Experience in process automation and business intelligence.
• Ability to work collaboratively and advocate for best practices.
• Willingness to learn and understand data development processes.
