Overview

The Coding Denial and Resolution Specialist is responsible for reviewing and resolving post-billed coding-related denials and rejections for hospital and medical group claims to ensure accurate reimbursement and prevent denials.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Health Information Management or related field.
  • Current coding certification (CCA, CPC, CCS, etc.).
  • Three years of experience in advanced coding.
  • Knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • Experience in denial management and appeals.
  • Familiarity with Epic and 3M systems.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize tasks effectively.
