Overview

Bottomline is looking for a Production Support Software Developer to support the Paymode product platform, working in a fast-paced environment alongside a team of developers and testers.

In Short

• Provide hands-on production support for the Paymode platform.
• Follow Agile Development Methodologies.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with technical service.
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing applications in an enterprise environment.
• Be on-call for production systems outages.
• Read and write SQL.
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts.
• Self-directing and organized.
• Experience in enterprise software and SaaS development.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read and write SQL – Required.
• Experience identifying issue defects and debugging.
• Strong familiarity with Object Oriented Programming.
• Agile Scrum experience is a plus.
• 3+ years of work experience in enterprise software and SaaS development using Java EE.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience building and maintaining REST services.
• Good understanding of using structured development methods and tools.
• Experience developing Java EE applications on WebLogic, Tomcat or similar.
