Overview

The Senior Technical Buyer will lead a small team of change specialists, coordinating tasks and managing engineering changes in the automotive sector, ensuring effective communication with key stakeholders.

• Manage a small team of serial change specialists.
• Coordinate tasks and support employees in their daily work.
• Act as a specialist in Change Management Process and Tools.
• Oversee all Engineering changes for Series and Pre-Series projects.
• Ensure alignment with Project Purchasing and Project Leaders.
• Possess understanding of technical requirements and manufacturing processes.
• Manage part changes from Series phase to end of life.
• Interface with stakeholders including Engineering and Suppliers.
• Ensure coordination for Global Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
• Work in an innovative and dynamic warehouse environment.

Requirements

• Experience in project purchasing and/or project management in automotive.
• Knowledge in simultaneous engineering.
• Proficient in cost analysis approaches.
• Experience in value stream analysis of manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of preventive quality management in automotive.
• Experience in developing commodity strategies for purchased parts.
