Lead-level Technical CAD Design/Drafter - Remote

Overview

Boeing is seeking a Lead-level CAD Drafter to work closely with the Engineering team at the San Antonio Manufacturing Center, translating manufacturable drawings into CAD models.

In Short

• Generate engineering models using CAD software, especially CATIA.
• Translate customer needs into detailed requirements.
• Convert 2D prints to 3D models while managing surface continuity.
• Apply knowledge of aircraft geometry in model development.
• Validate manufacturing compliance with specifications.
• Support other programs or perform additional duties as needed.
• 5+ years of experience in CAD tools and mechanical design.
• Work onsite at the San Antonio location.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with CAD tools.
• 5+ years in mechanical design/drafting.
• Experience with CATIA preferred.
• Associate degree or higher is a plus.
• Knowledge of mechanical and assembly integration.
