Senior Software Engineer - Platform Engineering - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Platform Engineering to help our engineering teams build scalable, extensible, reliable, and performant systems.

In Short

• Manage hundreds of servers and thousands of containers on Google Kubernetes Engine.
• Optimize Kubernetes clusters and manage GCP infrastructure.
• Develop and scale Observability strategy with various tools.
• Collaborate on large, complex projects and promote coding standards.
• Provide incident coverage and troubleshoot issues.
• Identify technology opportunities and advocate for technical strategies.
• Mentor other engineers and guide them in technical leadership.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Evangelize Bluecore Engineering in the community.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of software engineering experience in systems and infrastructure management.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes at scale.
• Experience with API Gateways, Istio, and network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of metric and alerting tools.
• Experience in developing technical roadmaps.
• Experience in high-growth startup environments.
• Technical mentorship experience.
• Strong communication skills with customers and stakeholders.
