Overview

As a Member Advocate at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, you will play a crucial role in delivering excellent service and support to our members, helping them navigate their healthcare needs.

In Short

  • Transform healthcare by supporting members as a Member Advocate.
  • Work in a structured, supportive remote service center environment.
  • Initial training schedule from 9am-5pm EST, shifting to 10:30am-6:30pm EST after training.
  • Starting compensation at $20.51/hour ($40,000/year).
  • Eligibility for salary increases based on performance and milestones.
  • Engage with members to answer questions and resolve issues.
  • Participate in a phased new hire training program.
  • Full-time position requiring 37.5 hours per week.
  • Must be local to Eastern Standard Time zone.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort with technology.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, unscripted environment.

  • Empathy and emotional intelligence in member interactions.
  • Effective multitasking skills.
  • Bilingual capability is a plus.
