Overview

We're seeking an Of Counsel Attorney to assist with PAGA, misclassification, and wage-and-hour class action matters on a flexible, project-based arrangement, ideal for an experienced litigator or solo practitioner.

In Short

• Lead or co-lead complex employment matters, including class actions and PAGA claims.
• Handle motion practice and discovery from strategy through execution.
• Provide case evaluations and strategic recommendations.
• Draft substantive pleadings, discovery, and briefs with minimal oversight.
• Participate in settlement discussions and case development planning.
• Manage client communication with professionalism.
• Requires active California Bar license and 8+ years of litigation experience.
• Preferred familiarity with electronic discovery platforms.
• Flexible, project-based hours and potential for long-term collaboration.
• Remote work possible, California location preferred.

Requirements

• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• 8+ years of experience in employment or complex civil litigation.
• Background in PAGA, wage/hour, or class action work.
• Excellent legal writing and analytical skills.
• Comfortable working independently and remotely.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with both plaintiff-side and defense perspectives valued.
• Trial experience in employment or class action matters preferred.
