• Specialist software engineers building, optimising, and maintaining data applications.
• Deploy data pipelines and processes in a production-safe manner.

• Use data services such as Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse, Kafka, Redshift, Glue, Athena, BigQuery, S3, Cloud Data Fusion.
• Focus on building reliable, efficient data applications.
• Experience with coding best practices and design patterns.
• Utilise CI/CD tooling for code analysis, building, testing, and deployment.
• Understanding of design choices for data storage and processing.
• Experience in writing complex queries against data stores.

Requirements

• Good understanding of coding best practices.
• Experience in writing well-tested object-oriented Python.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling.
• Understanding of cloud data services.
• Experience in parallel computing for large datasets.
• Experience in deploying, scheduling, and monitoring components.
• Experience in writing complex queries.
