Overview

As Business Development Manager – UK, you will act as BJAK’s on-the-ground representative, responsible for building strategic insurer partnerships, navigating local market and regulatory dynamics, and executing commercial strategies that drive measurable revenue impact.

In Short

  • Identify, prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close strategic insurer and ecosystem partnerships.
  • Own the full partnership lifecycle from outreach to go-live.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of insurer and strategic partners.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and finalize agreements.
  • Own monthly revenue and activation targets.
  • Act as a strategic advisor on market dynamics and growth opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and operational improvements.
  • Communicate effectively across all stakeholders.
  • Work closely with senior leadership on strategy execution.

Requirements

  • Permanent residency in the UK with understanding of local insurance market dynamics.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance and/or fintech.
  • Proven understanding of insurer economics and partnership structures.
  • Established network within the UK insurance ecosystem.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
