In Short

• Completing the final underwriting review of Conforming loans.
• Analyzing collateral documents such as title, tax certificate, appraisals, and homeowner’s insurance policies.
• Reviewing the Automated Underwriting System during final review.
• Calculating ratios during final approval.
• Meeting production goals while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Uncovering undisclosed debt or potential fraud in loan applications.
• Collaborating with Loan team, Underwriters, and other cross-functional teams.
• Maintaining acceptable Quality control standards.
• Reviewing and clearing tasks related to Credit, income, and assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in US Mortgage.
• Knowledge of Agency guidelines for decision making.
• Understanding of Credit and Collateral documents.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong data analysis capability.
• Knowledge of FNMA and Freddie Mac Guidelines.
• Detailed understanding of credit report, income, assets, and collateral documents.
