Overview

The Epic Applications Analyst 3 is responsible for delivering world-class support services across all Beth Israel Lahey Health, Inc. (BILH) entities and its affiliates, focusing on the Ambulatory sector and requiring Behavioral Health experience.

In Short

  • Deliver work within established timeframes.
  • Define, document, build, and maintain EHR application content.
  • Create functional specification documents for EHR applications.
  • Mentor junior colleagues in application knowledge.
  • Facilitate functional and integrated testing.
  • Document and report system issues effectively.
  • Provide end-user support during implementation.
  • Participate in workflow design.
  • Stay current with new application functionalities.
  • Participate in on-call coverage as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • EHR Certification preferred.
  • Two years of experience with EHR and clinical systems.
  • Experience in a clinical setting and with system implementation teams.
  • Skills in multi-tasking and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of HL7 coding standards.
  • Ability to document business processes.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Creative approach to process redesign.
