Senior Backend Engineer (Go) - Remote

In Short

• Develop core services primarily using Golang and PostgreSQL
• Help accelerate foundational services to scale the output of product teams
• Resolve issues with previously delivered features
• Write unit and integration tests for code
• Peer review code developed by others
• Ensure software is secure and maintainable
• Work with designers, product managers, and other engineers
• Encourage automation and continuous improvement

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software development experience (backend)
• Professional experience with Golang (Go) preferred
• Experience using Docker for local software development
• Advocate for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
• Experience with distributed systems or microservices
• Experience designing APIs (Protocol Buffers, RAML, Swagger, OpenAPI, etc.)
