Overview

The Senior Area Sales Manager is responsible for growing the business in sales, profitability, market share, and market penetration for assigned accounts by planning, organizing, directing, and controlling resources.

  • Achieve territorial sales budget and market share objectives.
  • Maintain good relations with distributors and agents.
  • Monitor competition and provide market feedback.
  • Organize promotional campaigns for end users and intermediaries.
  • Execute new product launches.
  • Ensure timely customer visits and order fulfillment.
  • Identify tender opportunities and communicate with the sales team.
  • Implement welfare measures for institutional customers.
  • Coordinate with field staff for document submissions.
  • Monitor sales representatives' activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science/Pharmacy and Master’s in Marketing or MBA.
  • 8-10 years of experience in the Medical Devices Industry.
  • Experience in the Urology segment preferred.
  • Knowledge of local language is essential.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to interact with management and healthcare personnel.
  • Proficient in English and local language.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office and web-based applications.
