National Hardware Specialist, Automation - Remote

Overview

The National Hardware Specialist for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for leading on-site implementation of complex automation systems and provides national level escalation support for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electro/mechanical equipment.

In Short

• Lead on-site implementation of automation systems.
• Diagnose and repair complex electro/mechanical equipment.
• Provide technical support to field service engineers.
• Travel at least 80% of the time, primarily by plane.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience or 5+ years with an associate's degree.
• Experience in complex electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Standard Laboratory Practices.
• Flexible with travel requirements.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Experience in customer-facing roles.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in laboratory settings.
