Overview

The Technical Specialist - Hardware Automation will provide expert-level technical support for diagnostic hardware systems, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and product performance.

In Short

  • Provide technical support for diagnostic hardware systems.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and support local engineers.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of diagnostic hardware product line.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions for customers and teams.
  • Monitor support metrics for quality and improvement.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Quality Assurance teams.
  • Document customer interactions and resolutions.
  • Travel in Europe for client site visits or meetings (70% of the time).
  • Work remotely with flexible hours.
  • Support continuous improvement of support documentation.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in technical support for hardware systems.
  • Strong understanding of diagnostic hardware systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Italian or Spanish.
  • Proficiency in support ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  • Ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe.
  • Experience in the diagnostics or medical device industry.
  • Ability to develop training materials.
