Overview

The Field Service Engineer at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences is responsible for conducting maintenance, installation, and repair of products at customer sites, while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

In Short

• Conduct routine maintenance and installation of Beckman Coulter products.
• Perform calibration and electrical testing in compliance with maintenance contracts.
• Enhance customer satisfaction and retention through effective service support.
• Complete Preventative Maintenance Inspections within specified time frames.
• Maintain accurate documentation and inventory management.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Travel to customer sites, including occasional overnight stays.
• Drive initiatives for first-time fixes to reduce breakdown times.
• Utilize IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Experience in a GMP environment is a plus.

Requirements

• Minimum HNC or equivalent in a relevant technical subject.
• Good interpersonal skills for effective communication.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment service kits.
• Experience in fault finding and problem-solving.
