Business Systems Analyst Specialist - Remote

Overview

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee’s Enterprise API Services Team is hiring a Business Systems Analyst. In this fully remote role, you’ll act as the face of our Enterprise API Services team, gathering requirements and refinements and supporting customers through the implementation of new APIs (or updates to existing services).

In Short

• Act as the face of the Enterprise API Services team.
• Gather requirements and support customers through API implementation.
• Provide timely communication and status updates to customers.
• Participate in meetings to align on release dates and best practices.
• Responsible for quarterly pre-planning activities.
• Direct business process improvement projects.
• Lead requirements analysis and verification.
• Collaborate with technical and project teams.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in documentation.
• May serve as project lead for small to medium efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Sciences related field or equivalent experience.
• 1 year leading requirements development efforts.
• 1 year extensive systems analysis and project management experience.
• 3 years experience in Information Technology and systems analysis.
• Knowledge of IT concepts and application development methodology.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
