Lead Systems Administrator - Remote

Overview

B&A is seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator – Lead to provide expert-level support for enterprise systems and infrastructure across a multi-site federal IT environment.

In Short

• Lead the planning, development, installation, configuration, optimization, and maintenance of system software and network connectivity.
• Direct daily activities of system administration staff.
• Analyze and resolve end-user and system-level issues.
• Conduct capacity planning and system performance analysis.
• Automate administrative tasks using scripts and tools.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures.
• Provide local and remote support for system upgrades and new installations.
• Offer strategic input on IT systems direction.
• Ensure high availability and fault tolerance of enterprise applications.
• Perform vulnerability scanning, patching, and mitigation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of specialized experience in Information Processing.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in enterprise software systems.
• Proven experience with complex IT environments.
