Barkbus is seeking a highly skilled Business Data Analyst to create functional dashboards and drive data-backed decision-making across the company.

In Short

• Translate spec sheets and SQL queries into interactive Tableau dashboards.
• Deliver functional dashboards quickly, with same-day iterations as needed.
• Ensure data accuracy and validate work prior to publishing.
• Implement corporate branding and design best practices.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams to understand data goals.
• Work independently while aligning with branding and coding best practices.
• Must have at least 4–6 hours overlap with Pacific Time.
• Portfolio showcasing clean, dynamic Tableau dashboards is required.
• Expert-level proficiency in BigQuery SQL is essential.
• Accepting applications from anywhere in the world.

Requirements

• Must be both a people and dog lover!
• Experience with Tableau features like calculated fields and parameters.
• Deep understanding of design principles for data visualization.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on clean visuals and intuitive UX.
• Self-starter who takes ownership of tasks.
• Ability to iterate quickly based on feedback.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teams.
• Portfolio required to demonstrate skills.
• 4-6 hours of overlap with 9AM–3PM Pacific Time.
• Must be able to work remotely.
